Project Narrative
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the 3rd leading cause of cancer death among women and men combined in the
United States. This project focuses on developing a large animal model that can be used to carefully dissect
the role of stem cells in CRC. Our goal is to utilize this model to improve clinical treatment of CRC in humans.
